Well first of all what is the water temp at? Secondly how often do you do water changes? Thirdly what are you feeding them? Also are there any other fish in the tank or nearby within eye sight?

Personally I would lower the temp a few degrees, not much. Also I would recommend feeding a frozen brine shrimp cube every other day to signify that's it's breeding season by having tiny fry sized food available in the water collum, can still work with micro worms, daphnia or any other tiny organisms, also shouldn't matter if it's a live food culter or prepared food but live food tends to work better imo. No need to change their main diet unless you want to. I also find that it help to give more frequent water changes with slightly cooler water to simulate the rainy season.

Hope this all helps and hope to see others chime in with their own tips and tricks as well.
