Flowerhorn Fish White Poop

hi guys i notice my flowerhorn that i bought from a vender couple days ago. he is pooping white stuff. I am not sure what is it but he looks health. Eats like a champ from Sumo pellets to extreme red kok pellets and other etc. should i be worry?? I run a 120 gallon with 3 filter 1 canister which do about 100 gallon and 2 bio wheel which do 90 gallons the temperature is at 84.2. any suggestion what i should do?

Treat for internal parasites.

I didn't know fish could get internal parasites. Are they worms and stuff like what mammals are susceptible to?

Similar, yes. Fish even get tapeworm. I believe that is part of their natural life cycle with salmon and bears...

any suggestion of what kind of medication i should be using?

try adding small amount of deworming tablet. to have an idea how small try getting a pen and draw a dot ( . ) give him two of this dot together with his favorite food like pellets. im pretty sure that the following day you will see tapeworms coming out of your flowerhorns behind. I tried this with my flowerhorn and i saw no side effects

I also use salt but in my opinion if the fish doesnt swallow enough salt the parasite wouldnt die inside him. I add salt every waterchange but if you feed him for example guppies that are infested with parasites you need to deworm your flowerhorn. by the way, i forgot to mention above that i used the dewormer for my dog because i couldnt find any dewormer for fish in the petshop near my place
