Ill be intersted to know waht you guys feed your FHS.

all my fh at the moment are on a pure XO diet ai: Xo ever red , Xo starry , Xo humpy head equally mixed.

Hikari Green Pellets. Just regular stuff now. It's the best way to go. Fish healthy and doing good

My best food for the $ now is Hikari bio gold. tha's just me though. My favorites are Grandsumo green and Massivore but they too expensive and not much, if any, better for the fish than Hikari Bio gold. That's just me though

I heard they are good, but how much better can it get or how far can fish food food go ya know? Give wings or make them fly?

Im back to basics and I feed the green Hikari pellets to my fish to make sure his nutrition stays balanced and he is healthy with big kok. It is not the crazy food that make the Flowerhorns! Mostly genes and good care with quality food as Hikari.. I do not work for r with Hikari. Just seen fish fed on those and I think they are on the "best" list

I feed my 10" Male Kamfa Hikari Bio Gold and Shrimp pellets. He also picks off the algae wafers that I drop in there for my 9" pleco so I have to wait until I shut off the lights and slip it in there quietly.

After the last privately owned fish store went under here no one sells NLS. It's been tough finding anything decent. I read the ingredients. If wheat flour, wheat gluten meal, soybeans or flaked corn are one of the first things mentioned I don't buy it. Don't feed your fish potato chips and twinkies. You can make your own gel food with unflavored gelatin and healthy ingredients there's probably a thread about it on here somewhere. Kinda cool finding out what's beneficial for them. Who knew garlic and chili powder were good for fish?

Agar powder is much better than gelatin for fish.
