Flowerhorn food

Currently have my 1.5” eating 4 times a day on betta bites but ran out earlier today and only have flakes to feed for tonight and tomorrow morning. Would it be okay to feed the flowerhorn fish flakes for a couple feedings until I can get beta bites tomorrow
 
Yeah should be fine. You could honestly fast him until tomorrow and he’s be fine. What size tank is he in?

Still in a little 20 gallon plastic tote tank but honestly he’s been loving it. Also been building an amazing bond with him. I’ll lay on the ground during the day when I’m not busy and play my phone or watch tv and it’s given the flowerhorn a lot of good chances to recognize my face also already knows exactly where the food come from and my actions that mean good time ? it’s actually adorable i love this lil guy. His or her name is daisy btw. Also I will start a growout thread soon I haven’t yet because the plastic don’t make a good material to take pictures through
 
1.5” is still fine for 20g. Are you going to put the flower horn in the 75g once you get the tank?
 
When are you actually getting a 75g? Just curious. Have you rehomed your other fish yet? It would be a big upgrade from a 20g tote to a 75g tank. The fish would love it I'm sure. What tank sizes do you have now?

I’m getting the 75g soon still not sure I’m just waiting for the person on Facebook to reply and right now I have a 40 and 29 and a 20 plastic tote. Still working on rehoming my fish.

How much is it on Facebook? Look at petco and ask about 1$ per gallon. At the petco near myself it’s always on
 
I got my 75 gallon with stand, lights and lid for 200 at petsmart. It was on sale for 250 and they let me add a 20% off coupon (I got from petsmart app) on that.

You can put flowerhorn in 40 gallon till he gets 6-7 inches.
