Flowerhorn for driftwood and 5 Africans

Have a guy ofer me a nice big driftwood for my flowerhorn plus $20 he is selling the driftwood and Africans for $75 on Craigslist kinda stuck on what to say I've been looking for a piece like this but I don't know if I'm ready to give up my man

Trade the fish. It's a low grade flowerhorn.
Good quality wood especially in that length can run you 100+. At the very least the wood has more of a value then the flowerhorn.

Agree 100%. Trimac/Flowerhorns like that one are everywhere. Just keep in mind that having that much driftwood in your tank can really lower the PH of your water, but it is a beautifully shaped piece of wood that would look great in a big tank.
 
I live 10 minutes from lake Erie- Driftwood is everywhere here and I gotta tell you curing driftwood especially a monster 3 footer- sucks. It's a process that takes time, space and an understanding spouse/girlfriend/roommate or landlord. Also finding a good shape you want is also not easy. Sometimes I sort through piles 10 feet deep all day and won't find what I'm looking for. Jump on that trade unless you really like him. I can find a better quality flowerhorn in less than 15 minutes from 3 different LFS's and I live in Ohio.
