Just alittle update on my fry

The first pic is the guy I am keeping. Measuring at 2.6"...I have 6 others in the tank with him, but he is alpha fish and the rest look bland (they will brighten up when in their own tanks.

2nd set of pics are the most mellow pair of fh's I have ever seen. They have never even nipped at each other. I would like to pick out one super pearly female from the fry - for breeding stock

What do you guys think?

I noticed you are in SD, I'm new to flowerhorns, and am seriously considering putting one in my 112. Do you have any advice on the best place in town to get high quality FH's?

are those from the same batch i got mine from? i'm thinking about taking th fh's out the juvi tank in there own, they look almost the same as they did when i got them, think they're stressin it too much, but yea those look nice . . . .

Yeah, he is the one that looked white with faded flowers. He came out nice once he got to be the big guy. I put some of the little fry from the 50 gallon in with him. He likes being he boss

Maybe you should try them in a tank by themselves, see if they blossom
