flowerhorn has injury near anus

today while i was at work my flowerhorn injured himself pretty much right around his anus. it was most likely on a piece of driftwood that has since been removed from his tank. i did a 75% water change and added some salt to keep the wound clean. he seems to be completely alright aside from the wound and doesn't look particularly stressed or anything. a couple pics of the wound are below and if you have any other recommendations for treatment feel free to share.

there were a few protruding parts on the piece of wood that he could have probably gotten caught on and it has a bit of size and weight to it so it wouldn't have moved easily. he definitely tore a little flesh away since i saw a tiny piece stuck to the filter

surprisingly he still doesn't seem too bothered by it. he's eating fine and no abnormal behavior so i'm a little less worried than i was last night. gonna do another water change after work and maybe give the wound a rinse with some salt water.

Thanks I'll grab a bottle on my way home from work. It's probably about a half an inch across. Gonna keep a really close on him I'd hate to lose this guy, he's my first flowerhorn that I've had around a year and a half now.
