My flowerhorn has ick, its all over him, ive been treating the tank since tuesday and still hasnt improved im gonna keep treating the tank with quick cure. I have never experienced ick this serious before but any suggestions of something new to try will be appreciated.

Raise the temp of the tank to 86 degrees. Add salt. Gravel vac everyday to remove the ich spores.
Super ick cure is the best, it use to come in a capsule that you open and its powder but idk if it still does petland sells it and my lfs. Male sure you raise temp because that is what really kills it the best. i put my tank around 86 degrees and it stops it from reproducing. Increase aeration.
Keep on with what your doing I'd say. I've never used quick cure but I have used wardley IckAway and it works like a champ...Sure they are about the same thing though. Another thing you could try that has worked for me in the past is adding salt and jacking the temp up to about 86 or more and hold that for a week...IME that will take care of it. Oh, and if it is anything like IckAway make sure you remove the carbon from your filters. Hope things get better, keep us posted.
ive always used quick cure and it would be gone overnight but i treated it 36 hours ago and the water is still blue and hasnt cleared up like it usually does idk if i should add more or no but theres no gravel or any kind of substrate in the tank, but i did raise the temperature and hoping its gone soon.
I read a few times that there are dye resistant forms of ich evolving. You might have that, try a non-dye cure.
For ICH.... I have never used meds in my life... I have always been a salt and high temp guy. I also have never lost a fish to ich this way. Raise temp above 85 to speed the ich cycle of life up. Raise salt to 2.5-3% (3 tsp per gal) sounds like alot of salt but trust me its not... Keep this up until you see no ich for 10 days. After you dont see the spots for 10 days start getting rid of the salt...
The vacuuming gravel part really helps in conjunction with raising temp. and salt.
Totally agree, I never use meds. Just higher temps and salt.. Works wonders :]
