Can anyone please help?
I purchased a large tank and flowerhorn around 6 months ago. He has always appeared to be in good health, feisty and hungry. Over the last few days he has completely lost his appetite and is very lethargic.I have checked the water parameters and all seem fine. I have also done a large water change, and cleaned the tank and filter.
When we got him I noticed a small grey hole just behind his horn which I thought was a little wound. It didn't appear to be bothering him so just left it. I have now noticed that this hole is a little larger, and another one has appeared, which makes me think it would be HITH.
I started to treat the tank yesterday with a 3 day course of 'Waterlife octozin'. Upon inspection this morning I noticed that he did a white poo which was very bitty/flaky, and he is also excreting a whitish slimy substance from another section of his head (it must be a small lesion which isn't visible).
Can anyone offer any advise.
