Salt and 85+ water has always worked for me. It takes a bit it clears it up. Post in the disease thread if you're interested in a medication for it. Be warned though a lot of those ick meds can cause more harm than they help

I did salt and temp at 88 but since yesterday he is a lot worse now ! Omg man. I spotted 5-6 white dots yesterday and did salt method after that he is much worse now but eating and swimming like a champ

Initial ich infection may not have been as visible since it takes a bit for the cyst to form. At 88 degrees ich cannot replicate so you need only to wait for his current cysts to rupture. Keep temp up about a week and you should be ich free

It's going to look worse before it looks better. That's a good sign actually. The high temp speeds the life of the disease. They will itch for a few days. Nothing you can do about it. Give it a few more days and they will be clearer.

88 degrees for 10-14 days with salt and all ick will be dead and gone. A high temp water change with a gravel cleaning will help too.
