4.5 months now since I got it
Still a lots to grow ?? And the head as well??

May I question Zz aren't the same as red dragon ?
Fish store mention he is a Srd

Zz is red dragon. Srd means super red dragon, marketing term that means higher quality red dragon. Your fish though beautiful doesn't have big enough head to be srd.

Oh ... really..
Any recommendations can push up the head ??
Also see from pics lots of blue peral more than the red color
Is that going to change more red in the future ? Thanks heaps

It's mostly genetic. You can feed him humpy head. But I think enjoying your fish is more important than having a fish which ranks better on certain irrelevant scale.

I think he will turn more red in future keeping the pearls.

No this fish will probably never have that big of a hump but it should improve from what it is now and I personally wouldn’t feed humpy head. Also how big is he now and how big was he when you got him.

ZZ is Zhen zhu and rd/srd is a type a type of Zhen zhu just as something like a Thai silk is a Zhen zhu. And I wouldn’t really label this fish any more than zz but you call it whatever you want. Although that is a desirable trait to some a flowerhorn can still be considered a super red dragon without a huge hump.
