Flowerhorn? ID Help Please

Would someone be able to help me with an ID of this fish? It was sold as a Flowerhorn at PetSmart. I don't know much about these fish but have had cichlids and really liked the color, the eyes, and the fins.

Thanks. I really liked the look of this fish. Will definitely need to find out more about it, care/feeding/gender and who knows, maybe even breeding if possible. How large does the fish need to be before determining gender? Thanks again for all your information and comments.

about 5 inches u can vent it. but just take a look, some flowerhorns can be dtermined by the spots on its dorsal fins. if it does have em, it is a female. and the spots will show when it's about 3" . sometimes, if it produces a big kok it is most likely to be a male, but u 'll nver know, sometime females also produce big koks as males do.
wht size is it now?
