Looks zz low grade but i do like the purple
Looks like a ZZ female. The grading is up to you but most that look like Trimacs are considered low grade flowerhorns. For years I thought I had a Trimac but ended up being a low grade Flowerhorn upon further research I found.

looks alright, probably be good fun to grow with the usually fh interactivity. any expensive/high grade flowerhorn already have well developed humps by that size.
what are your plans for the fish, never bought it to make a quick buck did ya?

No ended up getting it for 5.00 thought about growing it and trying to breed to to something or just trade it not to sure yet

For $5, it's a good price. However, it has no resell value since it's a very low grade FH. You'll have a tough time trading it as well. Might not even be worth breeding because it won't produce anything spectacular. Keep it only if you truly like this fish the way it is. Otherwise, you're much better off buying a better grade so you don't waste money/time on this one.

It's ones opinion if it's very low grade or not. 5 bucks is cheap he'll get his money back. I'd pick it up its unique

whats it look like in the water?
its not all bad, has an almost full flowerline and could get some great colour as it grows, might even be a nice mid grade female.

Agree with Justarn! He/she got a thick body and full flowerline shows very nice quality at the first, second, this looks stressed to so I would give another try.. With TLC and good water quality and quality food will be able to show him/her good color.. I would happily keep in $5, I was thinking to answer with $7-$8.. Please update the pictures whenever possible.. I would love to see him/her growing...
