I know that it’s been said that my FH looks like a red dragon but I’m not entirely sure. I’m terrible at flowerhorn types and ID. There’s definitely some trimac in him but can’t tell. HybridFinatic HybridFinatic Magnus_Bane Magnus_Bane

I’m clueless about flowerhorns, but if they said it’s a red dragon it probably is
I’m clueless about identifying Flowerhorn types. I can identify a tai silk, golden monkey and super red dragon and that’s about it lol the others look the same

SRD's and RD'sare the same genetic wise. Only reason one gets the super in the name is when they are an exceptional individual. It can also be used as a term for the over all coverage of the red color. Red color < Other colors = RD, Red color> Other colors = SRD.

As for OP's I would say it's a lower quality RD. Still not bad looking but definitely not competition grade. Just keep the water clean, keep the fish fed and make certain it's got cover to hide in or behind if need be.

Not interested in anything show grade. I’m more into the outcasts. Can you identify the kok type? Hard or water?

Oh I really wish I could help although I've kept fish for 20 years Eddie is my first venture into flowerhorns, I'd go with what Magnus_Bane Magnus_Bane has said.

You can deffinately see the Trimac in him through, either way I think he's stunning keep looking after him as well as you are and he should reward you well.

Sorry I can't be more help, but I'm truly honoured to be tagged for advice it's my first time ?.
