The guy who runs the fish department at my LPS said I ought to think about buying some Flowerhorns and selling them when they get older due to the fact that as adults they are worth triple digits if they are raised well. How true is this and is this a true statment?

Although I like the guy he has told me things I know are honest mistakes before.

For example:

Fish A
2-3"
Worth maybe $50-75

Fish B
8-10"
Worth maybe $30

Can you post the pic of your latest flowerhorn you have. Ill post a pic of my flowerhorn I got last 3 days ago this coming saturday ill post it ( 3 days to go wednesday here in my country ) Ill keep everyone updated every week

Well if I was to pick one out would I pick ones showing signs of a "kok" as I believe it is called? How would I pick one out? The LPS has about two dozen or so for sale and I can get them for a decent price.

Also just how big do they get? Do they breed true?
