A friend of mine bought a couple young flowerhorns that a friend of hours (no deceased) owned. I know he had a friend that imported them. Can anyone give any info on them. Thanks

That's like a textbook Flowerhorn. Standard body shape and coloration. So far, there is no indication that it's very special, but keep the water CLEAN. I've seen very plain F/H turn into beauties. It's got some flowers and the red eyes.. You may want to get rid of the gravel. That fish produces a ton of waste and the gravel traps it very well.

looks like a Zhen Zhou to me. tell your friend to feed him a variety of food, from live food to quality pellets. but one thing i would like to say is, flowerhorns are very prone to hexamita. regular water changes is the best way to prevent it. what tank size are they in? tankmates?
