poor guy, i just changed his water and when i turn the lights on i saw his pelvic(coudal?) fin has a nasty injury. it looks like it has been ripped or something, maybe he hit it on the water pump or something. I dont know what to do, should i stitch it up?If so how do i handle him? or can i use regular home items to stich him up? (regular needle and thread)here a pic of him, the water is blue I put some (a lot) of methalyne blue.will he be okay?please help, im kindof panicking here

that's deep, I personally wouldn't start trying to stitch anything....I'd make sure the water quality is as perfect as possible though, to avoid infection. Flowerhorns are tough, it should heal, keep an eye on it.

Do a 30% water change every day or every other day and power feed him. The more he eats the faster he will heal. I would also add some regular aquarium salt and bump the temp to around 85 if it's not high already.
