i bought a flowerhorn last week, alright size hump, good body size, but isnt agressive. He doesnt even attack a small mirror i put infront of him. Will he get more aggressive when he gets bigger and older? or am i stuck with a non-agressive flowerhorn?

ya wait and just enjoy your cuddly fh before he gets pissed and wants to kill you

oh alright, hope you guys are right. Here are a couple of pictures. enjoy.

LMAO @ all these replies. You may just have a friendly fish, if you bought him for aggression only then you may be screwed. All flowerhorns are not aggressive. I own a 12 incher thats not very aggro at all. He has his moments, but mostly he's friendly. He lets me pet him, though I dont do it too much because of slime coat blah blah blah

Gotta agree. I have one that is kind of shy. He has his moments, but for the most part acts pretty timid.

I agree with Musha.. I personally think that a good flowerhorn behaviour is one that is friendly & not timid.. :)
Furthermore, you wouldn't want a flowerhorn that attacks you everytime you do water change, it might sound fun the first few times but then it gets really irritating (unless you use Phyton or wear gloves)..
