Hi MFK!
That's my pet, bit older than a year, I could say 11 inches big, everything so far so good ......except he likes jumping, especially when I approach him, probably waiting for his food. The problem is that when he jumps quite often he hurts his head. I know that I can't do nothing to deal this problem, that's his nature, just my question is- is that behaviour normal for Flowerhorns or mine is getting psycho?
That's him with broken head.

And an extra picture- full body size.

I have a 3" flowerhorn that does that I thought he might be jumping at the condensation dripping from the lid

I had one a few years back and yeah he jumped a lot. About all you can do is make the lid as tight fitting and safe as you can. Like Dainbramage suggested cover all the sharp edges.

Thanks guys! Appreciate all your suggestions!
He jumps a lot, especially when I miss to feed him. Plus recently it's getting harder to clean the tank- before during vacuuming the gravel he was attacking the vacuuming hose, but since a month he wants to bite my hand, not the hose. Intelligent fish, protecting his territory.
