Flowerhorn kok?

Hey guys, first time post. I just bought this flowerhorn. It's about 3-4 inches and I was wondering if you guys could help me. Do you think it will be able to grow a decent kok?

It all depends on genetics, from the looks of it seems like it will have some kok but I don't think a huge water kok

Looks to be more female to me. I don't think female kok grow near as big as male, but I could be wrong.

Most females have spots on the fins. A pic of the underside will help

a little bulge on its head and dont see any spots on its dorsal fins. cud be a female but im pretty sure its a male. male grow bigger koks then female. a female with a big kok is a quality female. to make its kok bigger is all in the grooming process. but somehow the size of a kok also depends on its genes. but ive seen people groom low grade fh to pop out its kok. u can give it a try though . yours seem to have the potential from my perspective

I use grand summo red. You can feed frozen (thaw) shrimp, scallops, fish, one or 2 crickets or aupermowrns, occasional peas and zucchini. Whater changes minimum of 25% a week and a good size tank.

Scallops? like frozen one then chop it? tried the sumo but it makes my flowerhorns like agitated lol. what abot those ocean free products or okiko?

my friend use okiko and have great rsults. on routine, water chnge of course and the mirror method is also good. you can google it for more information on grooming .
