How do I get him to eat pellets he's about 2 inches. He eagerly takes krill and bloodworms, but won't take the pellets I give him. Should I wait until he's bigger?

I've tried soaking pellets for the last 3 days in the bloodworm juice with mine, he wont touch them. I've given up. I'm just going to keep tossing pellets in until he eats them. Hopefully it wont take longer than 2 weeks.

Try soaking for a few minutes then squishing with you fingers one good time then thow it in there. Works for me now :)

How long have you been trying to get him on pellet? I think a lot of times people rush to worry when trying to break a fish to a certain food. When I have new fish that won't take what I feed, It doesn't bother me if they go a few weeks without eating. A healthy fish can go a surprisingly long time without eating. Just keep to your regular feeding schedule and remove uneaten food to minimize fouling.

I just did that right now and still no dice. He just ignores everything that floats at the top or sinks unless its blood worms/krill. I'm at about 3 days so far with just dropping the pellets in, so hopefully he'll eat them eventually.
