It's tube droped so now I can't really tell what it is?
The tube has a dark color to its tip???

The tube has more or a flat tip as well... not pointy...

1: it is male... overall structure is too bulky and koky for a female... unless she is seriously overfed

2: in the second picture see how the edges of the fins are turning orange and everything else is getting darker? that's the beginning of the "peeling" or "fading" process. as time goes on, he will get dark, splotchy, and overall fairly unnatractive until he turns completely orange or gold, with the white flowers, red breasts that he had before, and extra spangles.
