Is it wise to keep 2 managuense with a flowerhorn in a 65g tank? (all are around 2.5"~3")
Please advise.. thx

chances are, none will do good solo in a 65g tank, let alone tossing the 3 of them together.

jags are mean as hell, and so are FH. its not a wise choice to mix anything with those fish. in my opinion, once they reach 6-7" jags and FH should be the only fish in a tank, otherwise you have a very high risk of losing all fish in the tank

chances are the jags will get killed, ime jags are HIGHLY overrated in aggression.

FH are bred to be show fish. Why mix them with aggressive fish and risk damage/injury? Don't do it.

i'd say its better to just keep the same species together.. dont chance it... managuense aren't as aggressive as some FH who are mixes of Midas, red devil, parrot...... too much to really say..

Are they able to breed? I always wonder if it's been tried before..

could they?? yes.

for some reason, i recall a thread on some site about "jaghorns" or some stupid name they were given. so im pretty sure someones done it arleady

I have a 10" Female Jag and 8" Flowerhorn you see in my avatar co existing in a 180g with just the normal aggression yo come to expect with Cichlids
