What I have is a flowerhorn that I think has fungus but I really don't know it seems to be where the nasal cavity I think. He eats and swims around but not very active.

one side is clean but other side is plugged.

fish got mouth fungus.
It's good that he/she is still eating. Soak some metro to his/her food and feed it. Make sure water is clean.
Mouth fungus will be very fast acting and your fish can died in a couple of day if nothing is done.

Well he has stop eating after my first post and now in a medical tank, I'm treating him with Maroxy right now I'm keeping my fingers cross, I have never had a fish make it through fungus.

Well I have been using a parasite med and it seems to be working I pray this keeps working and we can be on the track back to a health fish :)

Parasite meds for a fungus....? Are you trying to kill him?

Add carbon to remove meds and do a waterchange. All your doing is stressing him more with medications that are designed not to cure fungus. If it seems to be working, thats cool I guess. But I would really keep a close eye on it. Ive never seen an infection in the nose like that. Fungus is NOT hard to treat. Clears up rather quickly, you just have to diagnose and treat quickly.
You should add salt now too.
If you see no improvement go and get a bottle of Melafix, You will be glad you did. The stuff is awesome and many hobbiests swear by it.

I hate using melafix everytime I have used It never works. Around the mouth is gone and I was thinking of using clot. The other meds are done and did a 50% water change and yes running a carbon. I just have a filling that if I used Melafix it may not do the job but I guess I could give it one more try.

After 2month battle I was forced to put him down. RIP buddy will be missed!!!! :(
