ok sorry for all the questions but just like to be sure of myself and for the safety of the fish...would should be used on the bottom of the tank and also can i keep a big male and female in the same tank with no divider....is the divbider just 4 people who like to keep males together thanx again to all,,,,and what abouit temp..lol

For the temp 80-85 is good 83-85 is the best. You can keep a male and female together yes, but it does depend if they take to each other or not and on the size of the tank! Also even if they do take to each other you have to know they will each take their licks at times (damage) It is just their nature. For the bottom of the tank it is really up to you. All substrate works (avoid sand if you want to breed the babies can easily get buried) some people like none do to the easyness of cleaning. The best however is a very thin layer of gravel. Hope I helped:)

ok thanx again what about that chiclid substrate or just use gravel
