Baby flowerhorn about 2.5- 3", not eating at best he takes in the pellet and then just spits the pellet back out. I have only fed him new life spectrum pellets. He seems to hang out near the surface in the corner. He is almost sideways, looks like he might have a bit of buoyance problem. Fins are clamp. He doesn't look bloated or dropsy, but the anus area looks bloated, as if he is about to poop but then it got stuck right at the end.
Looks like this:

PLEASE HELP!!!

maybe he swallowed a gravel ? stuck in the anus area ?

impossible, he's in a barebottom. how long does epsom salt help with the constipation until hes back to himself?

most likely an internal infection or something. if flowerhorns arent eating they are clearly sick. check outside for white spots that could indicate ick. if there is no sign of outside infection, such as scales falling off, rapid gill movement (flukes) or anything like that, his behavior would definitely indicate an internal problem. Check water perameters, and check for white stringy poop. most likely an internal though, so i suggest going to get some medicine from local fish store or something.

go to walmart and get dog dewormer in liquid form. Soak fish food in it until it is soft, not mushy. Feed it to the flowerhorn and do small water changes every 1-2 days for a week. I should work.
