FLOWERHORN NOT EATING!

Hey people my thai silk flowerhorn is not eating idont know why
its been eating before and nothings wrong with the water and it has a big tank all to him self can someone help !!!! :(:cry:
 
First what are your water parameters? Ammonia/nitrite/nitrate/ph. That is the first place to start.

How long have you had him?
Are you giving him something different?
Does he have any white spots?
Does he have white stringy poop?
Anything crawling on him?
Is he flashing? (rubbing on rocks)

Look at him closley to check him out.
 
worms prolly. do huge water changes and add lots of salt and de wormer i have this problem all the time hope this helps

Kind of agree here, Thai Silk tends to have a lot of issues with worms when they stop eating for no reason. But a picture would be helpful, I want to see the stomach of the fish first before I can really even put anything out there of what to do with it.
 
yous epson salt for bloat and constipation, and use parasite clear from jungle , that would take care of internal and external parasites....

chicklette= ive had him for a bout 3 months now, hes eating the same, yes he does have white spots, he does have white stringy white poop nothings crawling on him and no, and i am lookin at him closely hes swimming around slowly but no eating
