hi friends my flowerhorn is not eating since last 8 days i dnot know what has happenned and what should i do and please tell me very best food for flowerhorn for hump and can u tell me what should i do to eat his food ill be really thankfull to u...................

I feed mine a combination of Hikari Gold (large) and New Life Spectrum (4.5) floating pellets, with some occasional OSI Flowerhorn sinking pellets. He eats like a glutton.

I used to give him live feeders about once a month, but stopped doing that a few months ago.

What are you feeding him? How long have you had him? How was his feeding habits before?

Is the tank established? How big is he vs the tank? Any tankmates?

Mine is super aggressive and must be alone.

Hi im john and whats ur good name ,thanks for replying me actually i have red dragon 10inch and tank size is around 3-feet by 2-feet ,this fish is not mine actually i have purchase with one of mine friend he want to sold so i have purchase since around 8 days he isnt eating anything so what should i do to make him eat please reply me asap ill be thankfull to u .......

I would just try to offer him different food options to see what he likes. Try to talk to the previous owners and see what he ate before. He might just be stressed and getting used to the new setting. After 8 days, I would start getting concerned. Hopefully he will eat with the next day or so.

You cannot keep a fish in tap water, you must treat the water with a dechlorinator or age the water before you let your fish swim in it. Is your fish pooping out white stringy poo?

how much time should i keep tap water to store one day is enough for that or more than that.......

One day is enough for chlorine to diffuse off. However, if your water company puts chloramine in the water, my understanding is that no amount of storing it will get rid of the chloramine. Either get some de-chlorinator, or find out whether your water is treated with chloramine or not.
