would it be cool to post pick of you flowerhorn for FOTM?
 
no this been done on many other forum this is nothing new so no and flowerhorn hobby is going down hill for their are to many breeders and to many fish out there these day so prices have gone way down and so is the hobby too many ppl quieting so there is no point to this i vote no

Just because I can breed Kamfas in my bathtub doesnt mean the FH hobby is dieing out. In reality, quiet the opposite. People have better access to more fish without going to FH conventions and paying up to $10,000 on a single fish.

+1 for Flowerhorn of the Month.

I understand what he is getting at but you still have to love FH's. I do agree there are too many crappy FH's being bred though. Need to cull more of those fry.
 
I'm all for any kind of species of the month. I feel that it encourages people to take better care of their fish, if only for competitive purposes. For example, maybe someone has a flowerhorn but is a little neglectful with water changes and food quality, so in the spirit of competing with peers they up their knowledge and work ethic thus leading to an increased quality of life for the fish. It might not help all flowerhorns, but if it only helps one thats still something.

Also I really enjoy voting competitions that involve the fish, we get to see a lot of high quality animals that way and it's fun!
