I’ve tried looking around but it seems nobody else has this “problem” if you can even call it one. He only eats pellets, i’ve tried everything. He eats all type of pellets too! I know a varied diet is good for him, but he won’t eat krill, bloodworms, mealworms, or any vegetables. Is it good to just feed different pellets? I have 2 different Okiko pellets, XO ever red, and Hikari Cichlid Bio-Gold. He’s a Red Dragon Flowerhorn i got from my LFS and he seems very healthy and active as well.

That's a blessing lol.. but maybe try not to feed him for a day, I'm pretty sure he will munch on the first thing u drop on the tank.

They have sensitive digestive tracts. Pellets only is perfect. The only other thing I give mine is shelled thawed frozen peas once a week. They take time to like them tho. Don't feed for a couple days and then try. One or two is a good start.

Lucky you, mine were all raised on 100% pellets. No worries.

Also, instead of thawed peas, which offer fish very little in overall nutrition, and when uncooked can contain a fair bit of anti-nutritional matter, feed aquatic based plant matter, such as algae, seaweed, etc. My go to for additional plant matter is NLS AlgaeMax. Good stuff!
