so i have been interested in getting a flowerhorn to grow out for one of my tanks and talked to a few people at a lps about ordering a super red texas. they said they cant get their hands on that exact fish so i was out of luck there. a week or so after they got in some flowerhorns that were all about 2 inches. i asked about there hybrid mix and they didnt really have too much information about the exact mix. one guy said that this type of flowerhorn isnt even a hybrid mix? i thought all are a mix of some sort? i ended up buying one cheap and decided to give it a try. he is in my grow-out tank until hes a bit bigger for my 110 or 240. anyways at his size i know he is not really identifiable, but i do know he is a male..looking at some stuff online the coloring looks something like a red dragon baby, but i may be wrong..like i said i just wanted to give this a try and any suggestions or info would be great!Flowerhorn.jpg

You can have my flowerhorn lol. I had to take him out of my main tank because he wouldn't leave my CKF alone. He's currently in my 20 gal quarantine tank which I now call Alcatraz and I feel bad for him. 20 gal is way too small. He's a solid 7"
