Get a Flowerhorn, they are rarer then a Texas cichlid. They also have more color then a Texas cichlid and they are more unique. They are also worth more.

Well I am no Flowerhorn expert, but from my google research, I believe fish is a male. I based this from a website saying that if there is no black spots on the dorsal fin, fish is likely a male.

If those Fronts cost as much as they do in my area... You are nuts! lol. I would with out a doubt be moving that fish out ASAP at the first sign of aggression. Cheapo Burundi are 25-30 a piece at about an 1"-1.5" here... lol They only go up from there depending on where they were collected from. I know you didn't ask for my opinion but I used to keep Frontosa and they are still one of my favorite fish to keep. It is a nice looking FH for its size so far! GL
