i have a 5 inch male flowerhorn and my friend is having 4 inch female and we are trying to breed them,they are in a partition tank from a week but today when i removed the partition they started liplockinng..are they breeding i have put them back in partition lips are injured..give some tips of breeding.

When my flowerhorn bred, the male world chase the female, the female would flare back then swim around the male will chase her, once he catches her she flares back and swims around again. They were not facing each other biting each other in the lips
