Flowerhorn pair

So this is a pair that I'm going to try to breed in the future when they grow up. Wat do u guys think this pair? It's hard to find a female flowerhorn in my area. I got my female for 8$. There is a female at another store that is a little bit bigger than her but she cost 120$. There is this other shop in my local and they sometime have female most of the time they have male but their fish have a 50% chance of having internal parasite. My male I got him for 60$ at my local pet shop. I don't see any other flowerhorn that look like him in other pet store around my area. He look cool and I never have a blue flowerhorn before so I decided to get him. My female is a little bigger than my male. They are in different tank right now because before they got into a fight and my male got hurt so I separated them. I'm still waiting for a 75 gallon tank to put them in and introduce them. Do u think its a good pair?

If I was to be completley honest. That is a great looking male. And breeding it to that female would be a waste of his genes. Fry would have so much more potential with a better female.

I know sadly she not that great looking but it's kinda hard to find a good female around my place ): I was thinking of buying a red dragon female and try to breed them and see how it goes but I can't find 1

You're in LA...I know a bunch of different places that have some quality FHs. Just depends how much you want to spend.
And yes, that male flowerhorn is AMAZING. Were one of his parents a silk thai...just wondering how much did something like that cost?

Sorry my parents won't drive me that far for a fish but if I see one a beautiful flowerhorn then I would spend a good amount of money on it. I got my male for 60$ at the local pet store
