I notice this this morning and I have no idea what it is. My flowerhorn has been pretty lazy and he hasn't been eating. This growth or whatever is right behind his eye and is white and worm like. I just real want to know what it is and how to treat it? image.jpeg

Pic isn't too clear, could be a parasite of some type can't really tell.

can't tell from picture. Does it look like a leach at all?

Try API general cure.

Why is it missing scales?

added an oscar to the tank and the oscar bit him. Nothing has happened since though...
(Microbe-Lift Herbal Actives Herbtana) Has anyone used this stuff?

Guess I won't be needing the medication I ordered... I woke up to him stuck to my overflow. :( poor guy. First flowerhorn ever and I loved the little fella.... Oh well. Thanks anyway, guys, for the recommendations.

sorry for your loss. Great quality photo though.
I wonder if your oscar was stressing him more then you realized

I just find it so weird because none of the other fish in the tank ever even touched him. He wasnt aggressive and never picked fights with anyone. My 4 inch jag never even touched him. maybe the parasite was worse than i thought. you could also be right though, maybe the oscar really was stressing him out and i just didnt know it. I went into petco today and saw another juvi flowerhorn and my heart dropped. My brother and i went to a few local fish stores today and I saw multiple flowerhorns. I honestly wanted to cry:(:(:( oh well, life goes on.
