Anyone have any connections to score a few of these?

From what I have read and researched, they have the temperment of a parrot, but the coloration of a flowerhorn! What an amazing combo! I can keep them in my community tank without fear of it spazzing out and killing everyone!!!

If you're in the Los Angeles county area I know of a local fs that carries them... They're being kept in a school and still seem extremely aggressive fighting amongst themselves... Don't seem to be community fish IMO

I have read when they are keot in bunches in small tanks aggression issues can arise. What sized tank were they in?

29 or 40 standard to my recollection. And there was at least a dozen in there. Cramped to hell

I would hope that any aggression was due to them being in such confined quarters. Everything I have read and posts from people who have owned them have all pointed to them having almost little to no aggression issues.

They will have plenty of space in my 180 gallon with very few tankmates.

They can be extremely aggressive or extremely peaceful its hit or miss, I grew out 8 before from 1"-3.5" and 6 of them were strait evil lol and the other two were still bullys to a larger convict so I ended up getting rid of all 8 but my friend has one in a 55 with some loaches and rainbow cichlids and its fine
