Hi all.
I've recently bought a flowerhorn cichlid and I've put it in with my Pleco in a 120 litre tank. My flowerhorn is only young and about 2" my pleco is about 8". At the moment I have just rocks in there and an ornement in the shape of a log for the pleco to go into. The trouble is my FH is always in there also. Even though they don't fight and they seem to get on i would like to know if I can take out the ornement so I can see both the FH & Pleco or should I leave it in?

THe choice is yours for the ornament. If you want to see them more, take it out.

However, your tank is woefully inadequate in size for both of the species of fish you have. Flowerhorns get to 12" plus. Pleco's can get to 24", depending on species. Either start saving now for a MUCH bigger tank or rehome these fish before they start getting stunted and very unhappy with their limited environment.

I agree fully with the size of tank. Should go bigger.

I have a flowerhorn, and when he was about 2.5" was housed with a massive 13+" pleco. The Flowerhorn was relentlessly attacking him. Had to move the pleco, as his back was getting marked by the FH. Your FH will probably eventually become aggressive towards the pleco. I'd lose the pleco, they are a dime a dozen anyways.:WHOA:
