My male flowerhorn and female purple rose queen seem to be hitting it off they moved all the rocks out of the middle of the tank and get aggressive if another fish moves in the area. I have 3 well-sized pikes in there another male purple rose queen, two small red devils, a med-sized turquiose jewel, a med uaru, and a large pleco in a 75. If they are breeding what should i move out of the tank so they can have babies?

I took all the fish out of the tank except the two but now the female is going over to my bubble stone and taking the bubbles in her mouth, and taking them back to where the male flowerhorn is at. I'm not sure if it is a female or not but the male has had fish juice come out of him many times in the past few days.

I had until very recently a female Purple Rose Queen who in the course of 3 years, bred with two male Flowerhorns and A large Red Texas Cichlid 4 times( all fish about 8-9 inches). She produced two successfull clutches of eggs with the first Flowerhorn, then as far as I can tell only one egg that hatched 2 years ago, and she killed the Red Texas Cichlid after he was not thrilled with her eating her own sterile eggs after he build 4 different nests. The same Rose Queen killed on of the two Flowerhorns she bred with, easily breaking his jaw. She bit me all the time, and occasionally drew blood. I still have her single fry, it is now 10 inches long and preparing to mate with its father, whom she beat up budly, but survived. Do not leave any fish other the mate with a Rose Queen that is nesting: she will kill them all.
