Ok so I have a 150 gallon tank and wanted to start a Central Tank. I go to my lfs and my guy hooks my up with a few juvie Centrals and some South American fish. I have a managuense, a JD, a Salvini, a Vieja, and this adorable little FH/Red Devil Mix. I have added a bicher, 2 cat fish, a gar, and 4 gold tinfoil barbs. (going to upgrade to a 300 gal. at xmas). After having these fish for about 2 weeks, I go to the lfs and they let me know they have a 6" texas which had grown up in a sump and had never seen people. I take him home and put him in the 150. Oh my word it was love at first sight for Jimmy (the Texas) and Flo (the FH). They have been inseperable since meeting, he follows her like a puppy and quess what happens to two young fish in love?

FRY!!! 100's of them, at the time of their first spawn, she was 3-4" at the most. I figured there would only be a couple of fry at the most, but I now have close to 500. I removed the fry, because like alot of people, I am curious to see what they produce.

These fry are now about 2 mos. old and are about 1" in size, jeez their mother less than a year older than them :D .

I attached pictures so you could see the odd couple and their devil spawn
