Flowerhorn sexing/food

Can any experts out there tell me rather this little guy is Male or Female? I know its probably 2 early to tell. I'm hoping for a female so i can hopefully keep it with a few other cichlids in my bigger tank.

I'm also wondering what kinda color enhancers i can use?
The LFS talked about some stuff called new life spectrum. Any other suggestions would be most appreciated .

If its not to early what type does it look like?

He wouldn't pose for pictures today ;( and the lighting in the tank is kinda low. But this is what i got.

I'm no expert but I think it's a female judging from it's shape. you can try chingmix to enhance her coloration... I personally haven't used it yet but there's a big fuzz over it being the best food enhancer.

This thing is quite aggressive for a little one. i had him in with a EBJD of the same size. For the first day they seemed fine but the next morning it basically killed my Dempsey. I learned my lesson and wont keep another cichlid with a EBJD until its more grown.
