I know, another one of these threads. Flowerhorn stops eating, yada yada yada.

Don't know the parameters of my tank, but I keep up with regular water changes. Temps are good. But he's recently become lethargic and doesn't eat. No white p00p noticed.

I have noticed that he's got some bottom teeth coming in. Or that's what it looks like. Growing pains maybe? He's always staring at the top of the tank as if he wants food, but then doesn't eat anything that I throw in. From pellets to blood worms.

So again, anyone ever heard of a FH now eating when his teeth are coming in?

They have teeth on the jaw which you almost never see and teeth like growth on the lips, that wouldn't effect eating.

We can't help unless we know more info.

1. What exactly is the water parameters and temp?
2. How long have you had the fish?

1. Parameters can maybe given tomorrow if I can go to the fish store and get the water tested. My temp is around 80 degrees.
2. Had him for about 3 months.

Ok, so I started using the metro stuff that my LFH recommended. But after a couple of days, came to realize that this is gonna be too expensive. So I decided to go the epson salt/distilled water treatment that was described in the link above. Its a lot of reading so not sure if I missed anything. My FH is not eating so I had to inject the mix into him with a syringe. I plan on injecting him again tomorrow with food too.

A couple of questions though...
1. Can I give him a dip/bath into the epson mix?
2. Can I add epson salt to my tank? If so, how much do I put in a 125 gallon tank?

Finally, after 4 days of force feeding with the epson salt and food, my FH ate on his own last night. He hadn't eaten for over 3 weeks. I hope all is good with him now.

Thanks for the advice and links people.
