We recently purchased a Flowerhorn who was healthy and soon became king of the tank, however, one day we seen his lips had swollen, we were not sure if he had fought one of the other fishes as we've seen him lip lock with a few but never had a swollen lip, but we've also seen a pleco trying to suck on him and he went to attack it, so we don't know if that's how he got his swollen lip.

We're treating our tank for parasites at the moment as some of the fishes are manifesting pimple-like things on their fins.

Today however, he's taken a turn for the worse, half (right side) of his kok looks swollen whereas the other side is not, he's also getting a white patch on the front of his face, as per the photo. We initially thought the swollen lip was only from fighting or biting the pleco, but now he's showing other signs of a disease of some sort.

Can anyone help me diagnose the problem so we can medicate him accordingly?

Thanks in advance!

Looks to be duck lips, caused by columnaris bacteria. At this stage it would probably be best to euthanize the fish to save the others. You can also add hydrogen peroxide to oxidize any bacteria that remain in the tank.

Agree with the above, and columnaris is most virulent at temps of 82'F and above, so if temp is that, or above, I'd slowly reduce it so as to keep the bacteria from an exponential bacterial population explosion.

Ive done it with a milder case but it was a very hands on approach that involved catching the fish and pumping a food/medicine mix down it gullet. I have found that most time just medicating the water alone does nothing.
