I have a juvenile Fh about 4 inches long now, my last post trying to find out what this lil guy was was almost 2 months ago and he was like 2 inches then...he has grown VERY fast. Anyways, I have him in a 90g tank now with a 10" pleco I've had for quite some time. Just wandering if you guys think there is enough room to maybe put something else in as well. I was wanting some type of catfish in there, not sure what type yet, if anyone has any ideas please chime in. Or maybe another FH if you think there is enough room.

I wouldn't recommend tank mates especially With that pleco. Is the pleco getting picked on? Because If it is, Pleco are known to fight back. And they are monster pooping machine Just saying xD
Oh and another flowerhorn equals WAR >_<

I havent seen him bother the pleco at all, and you are right about that, that are poop monsters. I was actually considering getting rid of him a while back but I just couldnt do it, Ive had him a while and Ive kinda grown to like him. I sure hope the FH continues his insane growth rate, with the pleco hiding for the better part of the day in logs and rocks, the majority of the time all you see is the lil FH...it looks kinda dead in there ya know. Thanks for the replys guys, its greatly appreciated.

A 4" FH would have to be crazy to attack a 10" Pleco. I think your going to be fine in that regard. Plecos will usually hold their own if they do get attacked.

The tank may look a little non-active now, But give it another 2 months for your horn to really come out of his shell. They are very outgoing fish and will try to be the center of attention whenever your in the room. Relax, and enjoy spoiling your little guy giving him 90gal to roam around in. They grow up quick.

yea 10" pleco could do some dmg. my pleco is like chuck norris it dosent take **** from no one. but he is like 15"

Oh yes, hes very outgoing, he has the the most personality of any fish I've ever seen. He's surely the coolest fish I've ever had, he's just kinda small right now ya know and it seems kinda naked in the with only him swimming around. Hopefully, he will continue growing like he has been ( about an inch per month ) and he'll fill up that tank in no time. I know at some point his growth will eventually slow down though, anyone have any idea about when that will happen?
