yesterday my 2 friends went to my house for celebrating something, they my flowerhorn was tolerate the dragonfin fish, they shocking on it because their FH cant be take any tankmate, even a plecco within the they put it in the tank, but the only they didn't try yet is this dragonfin... so to try it we brought my dragonfin to their house to see if their FH kill it, but it not attack it, their very aggressive 8 inches FH never attack it, we did tried it for 6 flowerhorn male and female and none of them make an attack to my dragonfin, so we believed that the dragonfin is a friend species of FH...

guys try it...

Keep your eye on him. Once the FH gets comfortable with him in there, it may become a situation. A bichir of that size will have a tough time fightin off a large FH. Right now the FH has no idea what it is, once he does...look out. Ive seen it.

I have 2 bichir and pleco in my flowerhorn 90g. FH is only about 5 inches now though.

ok, we'll see it soon, 2 to 3 months from now when they're hit their adult stage :) but actually my friends FH was an adult already but till now its been 3 days past and nothing bad happened to their bichir and FH.

there are some fh's that are mild tempered so you might be one of those lucky ones. but just to be safe keep an eye on the bichir.
