Flowerhorn tankmates.

Ok so I was wondering how likely it would work to add roughly five blue acara to my flowerhorn tank. I know its a bit of a gamble. But I'm thinking due to them posessing really no threat to the FH and by adding enough of them to I guess "spread the punishment" that it might work. I would supply the acara with lots of rock work and hides for them to get away from the horn if he gets nasty. I'm just curious for your guys input or experience.

How big is the tank? And I'd suggest something a little more robust than blue acara

Right now just a 55. But the fh is only like 3.5-4" TL. I have a 125 he will be in once he's larger. What else you suggest for smaller tankmates then over acara?

I'm 90% Its a female fh. And I honestly don't see why it would matter if all the acara or convicts are female. I don't see a breeding pair of acara beeing too much for the fh to handle.
