I place my flowerhorn in quarantine when I saw a white slime on his head in 3 days it has continued to grow, I have put aquarium salt on aquarium so far and he is eating perfectly

ammonia 0 nitrites 0 nitrates 20ish nitrates

Ph 7.5 temperature 84 degrees on both main, and quarantine

what is this, how do I treat it?

doesn’t look like any of the common fish diseases

Odd looking. Would reduce ur temps to 78. Dkee the water clean. Dab the area with methylene blue on a qtip and dose some triple sulfa.
