Flowerhorn turns dark when sun goes up.

Hey everytime in the morning my flowerhorn turns dark but when the sun goes down he turns back to normal color.

I feed him hikari bio gold,gold,staple. Could it just be the food i give him and he reacts to the sun when it comes up.

Do you get direct sunlight in the tank? It could be stressing him out.. What are your parameters?

Of its adjusting to the darkness. Dark tank = dark fish and vice versa. My old ophaline gourami did the same thing.

Sounds like melanoma. Treat with chemo therapy. If that fails, resort to Chris's advice

thats not dark well darker than b4. i see no stress stripes just look more yellow
