He is between 6 and 7 inches. He is housed alone in a 55 and will be going into a 75 or 90 sometime in the near future.

When did you put the black background? It looks like it brought out better colors in him....which is the oppisite of what black is supposed to do

I think I put it on in mid Jan. Like you, I have read many times that black background is horrible for FH color, but it seems to work pretty well with my guy since his colors are so light.
