First i want to thank you for reading and i appreciate any solid advice given.

I got a 2" flowerhorn about 84 days ago. He is still 2" maybe 2 1/2" now. Being a newbie i didnt see the problem for what it was until it was too late. I moved them to a 125gal and noticed a couple others appetites decreased and white poop. I treated with general cure and some homemade medicated food. Everyone got better except the flowerhorn. He still poops white and his color isnt nearly as bright. He eats though and a lot. I quarantined him in my 5gal tonight. Im treating with api and some more diy food. My questions are will he be a healthy pretty flowerhorn ever? What has this long term parasite infection done to him? Is he fixable? Anyone got any advice to help this cure along other than what im doing? Thanks you guys. I hope what im doing is worth it. These guys kinda become your buddy after a while but i want a quality flowerhorn.

Could be a just a fh with poor genetics. This includes a weakened immunity. I’d try feeding hex shield and garlic.

My first flower horn had the same issue. I fed him lots of live food and used a lot of prazi pro and for some reason that seemed to cure him. But he was growing, depending on where you got the guy it could just be poor genetics. But continue treating him until you see improvement. I hope he feels better and starts getting big!!!
