FLOWERHORN X CONVICT

I have two pairs going right now:
Male black convict with female red monkey flowerhorn
Male calico convict with female blue monkey flowerhorn

I have eggs right now from both spawns have you guys
ever dealt with flowerhorn/cons before?
What do you guys think i could expect from these?
Or know of anyone keeping these

Very possible since all CA Cichlids can interbreed.

You can expect some pretty neat looking fish. They will be a bit dark like convicts though lol.

Red monkey and blue monkey? I have a feeling you got mislead on a couple of the fish. Post up some pics for proper ids and we can give you better input. Convict will come through a lot in the fry but you should have a couple cool ones from each spawn. Id say keep the non striped ones and hope for faders.

do you sell them to luckys? they always have them

yes I do sell to Lucky, from my understanding the result will usually end up more
like a convict then a flowerhorn, they stay small they do not get bigger
then normal convicts, there are usually a couple that resemble flowerhorn
more. These i have growing currently they are around .5'' .
For some reason these hybrids are much more aggressive then convicts,
seriously more aggressive especially towards their own.
I am very interested to see what happens with my pink convict and flowerhorn
young. Im hoping to end up with something very light colored. I will be really happy
to get one that resembles a flowerhorn and has a white-ish body.
Overall I really like this project, my wife calls them mini flowerhorns
and mega convicts,
Please let me know if you find any pics of these hybrids.
I will post pics tomorrow.
